Chesham United Football Club is disappointed to announce the resignation of Tina Reading as a Director of Chesham United, and would like to put on record their thanks for the tremendous work Tina has done for the club.
Chairman Peter Brown acknowledged, “Tina joined the Board in April 2018 and immediately brought with her a new energy and community spirit that the club needed. We now have a difficult role to replace, but I totally understand Tina’s reasoning and wish her well. I know Tina will remain a big supporter of the club and will help out where she can; relinquishing the responsibility of being a Director will enable her to establish a better balance of her time.”
Tina Reading expressed her sadness in leaving: “It is disappointing to be standing down from a role that I love at a club that I am so passionate about, but it is a decision I have had to make for my own well-being and to get the priority of my time commitments back in order. There are so many wonderful people at the club that I have thoroughly enjoyed working with, they have certainly become friends for life, and I look forward to continuing to help the club where I can, spending time on the terraces and enjoying just being a supporter once more.”
Peter Brown concluded by passing on the thoughts of the club: “On behalf of everyone at Chesham United I would like to thank Tina for her hard work and energy that she has given during her time on the Board and we wish her well for the future.”
