JD & Muzza have added to their squad ahead of the season starts with the additions of Billie Busari & Reece Yorke who both appeared through pre season as trialists.
Billie Busari is a talented 19 year old winger who started his career at Fulham before joining Reading’s academy and eventually Tring Athletic where he made 26 appearances scoring 4 goals as a 17 year old in 2018/19. Billie (or Trialist D) on the night scored the opening goal of the game in our first home friendly v Northwood with a fine half volley from the edge of the box.

In addition to the two new faces, the club are delighted to announce that two players from the clubs Academy have signed first team forms. Second year scholar Blaaze Lawrence (17yo), another talented young winger who was on the bench last season in the League Cup, came on to make his debut in the friendly against Wycombe Wanderers and first year scholar and young goalkeeper, Dan Hosier (16yo), who saved a penalty and shined in the FA Youth Cup, has signed and will be joining the first team keepers at training to continue his development. The club are delighted with the progression of our young academy players, with Blaaze and Dan being the 2nd & 3rd scholars to sign forms after Josh Smith became the first last season away at Newport Pagnell in the County Cup.
