Joint Manager’s James Duncan and Michael Murray preparations for the 2020/21 season are well underway with our first 4 friendlies completed, with 5 more games to go before the season starts on 19th September. With 3 victories from 4 so far, its been a good start, results below.
- Sat 15th August – Kings Langley 3 Chesham 2
- Tues 18th August – Uxbridge 0 Chesham 2
- Sat 22nd August – Royston 0 Chesham 1 (45 minute tournament @ Ware)
- Sat 22nd August – Chesham 3 Ware 0 (45 minute tournament @ Ware)
Next up, we move onto 4 games against fellow Step 3 clubs with 2 games against Isthmian League opposition (Bowers & Pitsea and Enfield Town) sandwiched between matches against Southern Premier Central sides (Biggleswade Town and Banbury United). Additionally we will host our Nortwhood on Thurs 27th August and tenants Aylesbury United in a Meadow derby on the Tues 1st September. The Banbury game will be played on the Friday night with Aylesbury drawn at home in the FA Cup.
As a thank you for your support last season and to allow you to enjoy the hopefully sunny summer with us at the Meadow, CUFC is delighted to announce that our home preseason calendar against Biggleswade, Bowers & Pitsea and Banbury United will be “Football for a Fiver” at the Meadow.

Entry for season ticket holders is included as part of the season ticket, we would appreciate in these difficult times if season ticket holders could make a voluntary contribution at the turnstile to help us recover the significant costs we have had to outlay to get these games on with supporters present because of the extra Covid-19 requirements.
