We are pleased to introduce our new home kit, provided by Surridge Sports. For the 2019/20 season, the club has decided to go with a shirt design with historical significance for the season in which the 100th anniversary of our first competitive fixture as Chesham United falls.
What better way to start our 2019/20 season than with a return to the colours of our players and heroes. Which we hope will be a great omen for good things to come, especially with elements of the shirt won on the club’s Wembley adventure of the 20th April 1968 featuring prominently.
Chesham United’s first competitive season, following the merger of Chesham Generals and Chesham Town on 1st December 1917 was the 1919/20 Spartan League season. A season in which Chesham United played this their first competitive matches in the against local rivals to this day Wycombe Wanderers and Aylesbury United as well as Great Western Railway and 2nd Coldstream Guards.
The new shirt will be available from the Supporters Trust club shop nearer to the start of the season and we will be bringing you photos of the shirt in action when the first shirts arrive at the club.
If you would like the chance to see your company name on the front of our new shirt, please contact Tina Reading at commercial@cheshamunited.co.uk for more info on our Corporate Patrons Scheme where among the prizes is the opportunity to be our Home Shirt Main Sponsor and all for ONLY £330 + VAT.
Previous shirt sponsors have found their company name on the back pages of local and national newspapers with our FA Cup victory against Bristol Rovers in 2015 featuring across most of the major national papers Monday editions.
A big thank you to our kit team Andy and Callum Hart for the countless hours they’ve spent working on designs over the past few weeks.
