Firstly, we hope everyone connected to the club and those close to you are keeping healthy and safe.
A big thank you to everyone that came to the club awards on the 11th, it was great to see everyone and we know everyone at the club is looking forward to next season.
And speaking of next season, for the past few months we have been no nearer to knowing when we will be getting back down on the pitch. We are delighted to be in a position now where we have a restart date and the plans we have been putting in place over the last few months can be confirmed and we are able to to start confirming the 2020/21 squad this week.
We will continue to be supported by a fantastic backroom staff with Mick Johnson continuing as Assistant Manager, David Murphy as First Team Coach and Daryl Vas as goalkeeping coach. Matt Loomes will continue to provide the players with the very best medical care as the clubs first team physio. The full backroom team will be invaluable to the players as we go through the season and we are delighted to have them all back for 2020/21.
As mentioned in yesterday’s club statement, we hope to have an exciting pre-season programme for the supporters after such a lengthy lay off, with details of individual games being confirmed as agreed with the opponents.
