Jonathan North joins on loan from Wealdstone

Chesham United are delighted to announce the signing of Jonathan North on a loan deal from Vanarama National League South leaders Wealdstone.

The 28-year-old goalkeeper joins with current number 1 Ben Goode out for a number of weeks with a shoulder injury sustained on Saturday against Hampton & Richmond Borough.

‘Northy’ as he is known to Wealdstone fans is a former Welsh U21 international, and is Wealdstone’s longest serving player, having been at the club for nine years; amassing over 350 appearances. A three-time winner of Supporters’ Player of the Year and considered to be one of the best goalkeepers at that level of football.

North is eligible to make his Chesham debut this Saturday against Yate Town.
