Chesham United is pleased to announce the signing of centre-back Jack Cawley.

A 31 year old centre back, Jack joins the Generals after finishing last season at AFC Sudbury, where he spent the last months of the season after returning from playing football professionally down under.

In his time down under, Jack was part of the Wellington Olympic title winning side in the New Zealand top tier National League, before moving to Australia where he joined Perth Soccer Club in the second tier National Premier League – Western Australia.

Jack has also got extensive experience of the National League prior to his spell down under with stints at Bromley where he won the FA Trophy, Wealdstone in their early National League seasons and most recently Maidstone United.

His playing career started at Heybridge Swifts from where he joined Maldon & Tiptree, and then Concord Rangers.
