Following a busy week at the Meadow with a 5-1 friendly victory over Bostik South Central side Uxbridge FC and a training session at the Meadow last night for the squad. Chesham United are pleased to announce 3 new signings with the addition of Steve Brown and Eoin Casey from Potters Bar and Harry Pearse from Burnham & Long Island (USA).
- Centre half Steve Brown has joined from Potters Bar. Previously with Northwood for a number of years and Oxhey Jets before that. Steve made 43 appearances last year at Potters Bar, scoring 6 goals from his centre half spot.
- Eoin Casey is a hardworking goalscorer who joins the Generals from Potters Bar. Eoin made 46 appearances last year, with a return of 31 goals. Eoin’s previous clubs includer Aylesbury United and Hanwell Town.
- Harry Pearse is a midfielder, who joins on loan from Maidenhead United after spells with Burnham FC and a spell in the USA with Long Island Rough Riders.
In addition to the names above, a number of young players that are well known to managers James Duncan & Michael Murray have signed Southern League forms and will be a part of the squad in the future – Steven Martinez, Jerry Maja, Romario Martin-Miles, Ronny Mfinda, Femi Ognunsola & David Sota.
As well as this weeks arrivals, there have been several departures from the Meadow. Matt Bevans, Ben Walster & Alex Tokarcyzk have left the Meadow and have decided to join Farnborough, Biggleswade & Kings Langley respectively following 7 day approaches from those clubs. While Oran Swales & Tom Hitchcock have been released to find new clubs. The club would like to thank them all for their service to the club and wish them well in the future.
