We are delighted to announce that Connor Stevens and Callum Adebiyi have penned new contracts with the club that will extend their stays at the Meadow until at least the end of the 2025/26 season. Joint Manager, Michael Murray was delighted, commenting:
“Securing the services of Connor and Cal for another season is massive for us as a football club. Two excellent defenders, and both excellent off the field as well.
Connor has been a breath of fresh air in the changing room, a player we tried really hard to get in the summer and a top top player who could be playing at the level above, so we are delighted to get him signed up for another 18 months.
Cal was really important for us last year coming into the group to help us get up to the Conference South and he’s continued those high standards this season in our debut Step 2 campaign.
We’ve still got some more points to put on the board towards our points targets this season but thought it was important to also start looking to the future as we come into the final ten games of the season“

Connor Stevens
Connor joined the Generals from National League side Barnet in May 2024, making 40 appearances, scoring 6 times so far this season in our debut National League South campaign. Connor came to the club with vast experience at this level and the one above including a National League South winners medal from his time at Wealdstone FC.
Upon signing an extension to his deal, Connor had the following to say “Really really happy to be at the club for another season, I needed to get that motivation again for football to pick my career back up after injuries. JD & Muzza have given me the chance to do that, and I’ve loved every minute since coming in with a great environment to be in around the club. Hopefully I can bring some of my experiences from a higher level to the pitch as we try and finish as strongly as possible this season”
Callum Adebiyi
Callum who has made 78 appearances, scoring 6 goals in Generals colours, initially joined the club in August 2023 from St Albans City, dropping from the National League South to be a key part of our 2023/24 Southern Premier League South winning squad where he was a rock at the back, equally adept at either of the left sided defensive roles and a fantastic leader on the pitch.
Upon signing a deal to stay, Callum commented “Chesham is a great football club, I’m very happy to get signed up again. It was a great season last year winning the title with a great group of players & staff, we’ve gone well this season and I’m looking forward to carrying it on into next season at the club“
