About the Supporters Trust

The Supporters Trust in its current form was set up in 2004 to help support Chesham United Football Club. It has donated money and time since then to the Club, as well as owning and operating the club for a few years and continues to be involved in the running of the Club and in the community. Funds have been donated to the Club through good times and bad.

Matchday

The Trust is involved in almost all aspects of Club life.  

  • Matchday operations are run by Trust board members and normal members including the parking, stewarding, Club Shop, Snowball and Golden Goal and various other jobs around The Meadow.

  • The away match supporters coach travel is arranged by members of the Trust board.

  • The Trust also has a base by the turnstiles at The Meadow on matchdays with the Club Shop.

We are always looking for volunteers to help us out on matchdays, so please speak to someone on the committee to see what needs doing!

Club Board Representation

The Trust regularly attend club board meetings and have a say in the running of the Club while also being able to be involved with the Supporters Trusts day to day operations.  This means that the opinions and thoughts of Supporters Trust members can be passed onto the Club board, and the respective boards, along with the supporters themselves, can work together for the benefit of the Club.

Social, Charity and Community Events

Events are organised throughout the season to raise money for the Club and Trust including race nights, quiz nights, raffles and the end of season presentation evening.  We have also been involved in working with the Youth and Ladies sections to run their events.

Promoting the Club

The Trust is also heavily involved in promoting the Club in the local community, running several promotion events in the town centre and at local events like Chesham Carnival.  At these events we have offered free tickets to home matches, prizes from the CUFC merchandise range, season ticket competitions, as well as giving out information on the Club and the Trust.

By joining the Trust, you are actively supporting both the Trust in the community and the Club, so join today!
