Chesham United Football Club is delighted to announce a four-year partnership with current kit supplier Karuta Sportswear.
The deal will see Karuta continue to make kits for the men’s first team and will be available for the Ladies and youth teams also. In addition to this they will continue to supply and grow the already incredibly successful online presence for leisurewear and other items related to the club. Karuta, based in Weston-super-Mare became kit supplier in 2020 and even in that time, and despite the difficulties of the Covid-19 pandemic, the kit has been a popular choice with matchday fans. Such is Karuta’s commitment to the Club they have frozen prices on all shop items throughout the four-year term.
In addition to the quality products that Karuta have made available they have been a positive addition to the Club, providing energy and ideas to grow the retail option for the Club and help the Club reach that next level – namely, Conference South. The longevity of the deal and the plans for a new ground, that the Club continues to work on behind the scenes, shows the ambition off the pitch that joint managers Michael Murray and James Duncan are showing on the pitch to attract the best players to take the Club forwards and to be ready for the 2021/22 season when it starts.
Speaking after the announcement was confirmed, Chesham United Chairman, Peter Brown, said: “We are thoroughly delighted to have secured this long-term agreement with Karuta. From the moment we partnered with them as kit supplier they have been nothing but professional and proactive in their dealings with the Club.
Not only that the product they create is first class and I know the players love running out in the kit they make and supply. This is another signal of our intent to grow this magnificent club and to collectively take it to the next level in the coming seasons.”
Martin Longden, Managing Director at Karuta Sportswear, said “We are delighted to enter into this long term partnership with Chesham United. Chesham United were very unfortunate to have promotion denied to them due to the pandemic and we have no doubt the club will be playing in National Conference South in the very near future.
The club is very progressive and professional both on and off the pitch and we look forward to playing a small part in their success. As a club they fully embraced the concept of having kit designed exclusively for them and we look forward to producing some eye catching and innovative designs as we go forward.”
