The Chesham United under 18s side competes midweek in the Southern Counties Floodlit Youth League as well as representing the Club in the FA Youth Cup and various county and league cup competitions. Generally the side includes players aged 16 – 18 (school years 12 and 13) and those under 18 years old on 31st August 2011 can qualify to play for this team for the 2011-2012 season.

The team plays matches at The Meadow and trains at Chesham Grammar School under the supervision of FA qualified coaches. Players from this side have a structured progression route to men’s senior football with the potential to play for Chesham United Reserves in the Molten Spartan South Midlands League and then for the First XI in the Evo-Stik Southern League Premier Division.

Their first season in the Southern Counties saw Chesham win the Delphian division and the Brian Hitchins Cup, reach both the Championship play-off and Colwyn Cup semi-finals, and the last qualifying round of the FA Youth Cup. Several players also represented the Reserve team in the Surburban League last year and progressed to the First Team squad system.This season the side are playing in the Corinthian Division made up of: AFC Dunstable, Berkhamsted, Boreham Wood, Chesham United, Hemel Hempstead Town, Leighton Town, Luton Town and Newport Pagnell.

Pre-season training for the season 2011 - 2012 starts at 7pm on the 19th July at Chesham Grammar School and is open to players in the 16 to 18 age range.
