Stourbridge remain one of the favourites to lift the league title and will prove a sturn test for Andy Leese's side as they return to league action after a couple of cup triumphs over Bishops Cleeve and Abingdon United over the past week.
"We are looking forward to getting back to League action this weekend" confirms manager Andy Leese "and the game against Stourbridge is always a big one for us with both teams competing at the top end of the League in the last few seasons.
"They are always in the shake up and have a settled squad which Manager Gary Hackett has patiently built up over the years. They have that consistency and organisation that you need to get out of this level, and some talented players. They have gone out of the FA Cup and FA Trophy in recent weeks, so they will be hurting and wanting to focus on the League campaign. We are similar as we lost a couple of League games in September, and the players are desperate to get back on track. We have worked hard in training since the Arlesey game, and the last 2 Cup games have seen us getting back to how we should be. Nothing is ever won or lost in October, but we know the next 2 League games are important for confidence and keeping with the targets we set each month. We need everyone in the club behind us at home and away"
There is a coach for Stourbridge leaving the club at 11.15am. If you wish to travel please confirm with Brian McCarthy on 01442 871750 or email firstname.lastname@example.org . The fare is just £10, return. For those looking to make their own way to the game, directions can be found here.
