Curtis Ujah, a popular and influential player as evidenced by his second place in the recent Players' Player of the Season awards, is leaving The Meadow for Enfield Town FC. Manager Andy Leese told the CUFC website

"Curtis leaving has been on the cards since Enfield Town approached for him in the season. We did all we can to keep him but the terms on offer to him are beyond our means as we look to strengthen across the squad. Curtis has personal reasons to want to play more locally and I have to respect that. He has been great for us last season after a break from the game.

We are in the process of talking to possible replacements and I am confident we will secure our targets. I expect Curtis to be the only player looking to leave. My early discussions with the squad have all been positive. We are ahead of the game this year following a couple of meetings with the Chairman, and I will let you have any player news as it is confirmed. It is always a busy time for Managers, and getting commitment from players is not always straightforward!

"That said, I am confident we will have some good news shortly. Keep the faith!"
