Leese looks forward to Bedworth

Friday 2nd November, 2012

Chesham United manager Andy Leese is pleased with his side's preparations ahead of tomorrow's away match at Bedworth United. "We are looking forward to the trip to Bedworth this weekend after a good week's work. We have trained twice this week, and worked on the issues from last weekends game, whilst also focusing on the game at Bedworth.

"The players are in good shape, and keen to build on the positive aspects of last weeks game. We were sharper in terms of our passing, and thankfully more clinical in front of goal. There were signs that we were getting back to how we can be, but we are under no illusions that it will be a battle at Bedworth.

"They had a good win last weekend, and they will be looking to build on that. The game starts an important week for us with a Senior Cup game in midweek and the FA Trophy tie at Canvey to follow. We still have one or two injury issues, namely with Steve Wales, but with Martel Powell and Scott McGleish coming into the squad, I am happy we have enough quality to build a winning run."

The team coach leaves tomorrow at 11.30am from The Meadow and fans are welcome to travel. To check seat availability, priced at £10, call Brian McCarthy on 01442 871750 or email brian_mccarthy@ntlworld.com
