Chesham United Supporters Trust AGM Weds 24th October 2012

Chairman’s Report
Steve Gave a short speech on last year’s events within the trust. He reflected on what has been a difficult year for the trust with the vote on the shares to be given to Roger. The agreement is still to be signed, Roger’s legal team were not happy with some aspects of the agreement. The committee are looking at arranging a meeting between The Trust members, Roger and The Board within the next few weeks, date TBC.

The membership last year was 79, the current membership stands at 55 members.

Last year The Trust ran coaches to away games, as well as:
3 quiz nights
Race Night
Beer/Blues Night
Bingo Night
Xmas Raffle

Finances are in a reasonable state members were handed a income and Expenditure account sheet and were offered to ask questions but there was no questions from the floor.

It was voted unanimously, that the committee would continue for another year. The current members are: Lee Wiles, Graham Bayliss, Dave Jeffery, Mike Elliott, Craig ‘Nobby’ Knowles, Martin
Woolnough and Steve Turner. Steve will continue in the role as Chairman, as well as becoming liaison between club and Trust.


The Chairman gave a vote of thanks to Mike Warrick for all his hard work within the supporters trust.
We will be running a supporters coach to Hitchin on the 24th November times and prices TBC
We will try and run an event once a month, with events booked so far:
Christmas Party 15th December Local group Abakus to play and the Christmas raffle to be drawn
Fireworks Display 2nd November Run by the trust for the club, the trust will have a small stall; any volunteers would be most welcome
