Chesham: Jordan Deverrick, Olly Shaw, Barney Banks (sub Luis Kiso 54 mins), Ben Mooney, Jack Halcomb, George Jarvis, Will Orchard, Dan Loveday, Brad Wadkins, Keion Halstead (sub Will Gray 72 mins), Tom Bambury. Other subs: Rob Smith, Mohammed Butt, Hadleigh Devall. Goal: Halstead 31 mins.

Chesham's youth team clinched the league title with a win that was more convincing than the scoreline might suggest. In a very open and entertaining game Hillingdon came close early on when a forward got in the way of Olly Shaw's attempted clearance and the ball could have gone anywhere but went just wide of the post. Towards the half-hour Chesham put pressure on the Hillingdon goal with Dan Loveday shooting just over and Brad Wadkins having a shot on the turn deflected away for a corner, from which Keion Halstead fired the game's only goal from close range.

Early in the second half Hillingdon came into the game and Jordan Deverrick was forced to pull off a couple of smart saves, and the visitors missed a great chance when their main striker was clean through and tried to put the ball past the advancing Deverrick into the corner of the net but pulled his effort across goal. However Chesham carried the greater goal threat and Brad Wadkins was clean through and appeared to be brought down from behind but the referee waved play on. Keion Halstead headed down an Olly Shaw free kick to Dan Loveday whose first-time shot hit the bar, then Tom Bambury pulled the ball back to Brad Wadkins whose shot was cleared off the line. Late in the game Will Orchard had a close-range header cleared off the line, and with only one goal in it there was always a danger that Hillingdon might spoil the party but eventually Chesham saw out time. All in all this was an excellent game played in the right spirit, with both sides trying to play passing football without a bad tackle or a word of dissent in the whole game.
