Chesham moved above Bedworth and into mid-table with this win.  After Chesham cruised to a two-goal lead in the opening twenty minutes the rest of the game was relatively unventful, but that was largely because the visitors seldom threatened a comeback.

Chesham made three changes - Michael Sharman came in for Mark Lambert, Kevin Cotton made his first start after two months out with a knee injury in place of Danny Talbot, and Adam Parker returned from suspension in place of John Lawford.  Chesham got off to the perfect start with a goal in the second minute, Adam Parker threading a pass through to Danny Burnell on the edge of the area who slipped the ball into the corner of the net as Bedworth keeper Andrew Kemp came out.  From then until the second goal the only noteworthy event was a deserved yellow card for Ben Twigger for a bad challenge on Michael Sharman.  On 20 minutes Kevin Cotton's through pass found Adam Parker in space on the right, Parker's low cross towards Burnell was blocked by a defender but Parker picked up the loose ball, side-stepped a challenge and slotted the ball into the net.

With a two-goal cushion Chesham were in the comfort zone, but it was not until the 35th minute that Bedworth had their first worthwhile effort, a free kick by Lee Greenway that took a deflection off the wall but Richard Hayward was able to change direction and save.  As half-time approached Hayward parried an angled shot by Simeon Williams after a cross from the right ran loose in the area.  On the hour mark Danny Burnell blocked a clearance and curled a shot just wide, while Bedworth toiled to little effect and the game began to resemble a training exercise.  Fifteen minutes from the end a cross from Michael Sharman was cleared by Nick Mowl only to the edge of the box, from where Adam Parker clipped a shot against the bar.  Ten minutes from time Bedworth had their best spell of the game with a good run by Ben Porter that ended with Hayward coming out to block a shot, then sub Luke Baker turned a cross from Williams back across goal but there was nobody to take advantage.  However Chesham had a much better chance late on when Danny Burnell broke down the left and pulled the ball back from the by-line to Adam Parker who fired over.  Greenway then became the fourth Bedworth player to go in the referee's book, then right on the final whistle Bedworth sub Adam Kinder went for goal from a distance after a hurried clearance by Hayward, but Andy Keepence got back to clear.  However by then the game had long been over as a contest.
