Chesham United
 Man of the Match:
 David Pearce
Alan Walker-Harris  1 Shane Gore Chesham’s first-ever visit to Dorchester resulted in dull draw, marred by a late injury to sub Mark Nwokeji.

Ryan Towner replaced injury victim Dave Fotheringham, while new loan signing Dave Pearce came into the team in place of the injured Ryan Blake.  Mark Bell was back on the bench after recovering from the injury sustained last Saturday.  Early on Dorchester defender Nathan Walker came forward and headed a long throw over the bar, which was virtually the only noteworthy action of the opening 40 minutes.  Dorchester had the majority of possession but never looked like scoring, while Chesham looked like a team still trying to get used to each other.  Late in the half Dorchester’s Sam Lanahan headed over a Dan Smith cross, and Shane Gore watched as Smith’s shot from 30 yards flew wide of his right-hand post.

Early in the second half Chesham threatened for the first time when a corner was cleared as far as the edge of the area, and Alex Brown set up Dave Pearce for a shot that home keeper Alan Walker-Harris beat away.  Two minutes later Andy Ballard just cleared the bar with a header from a Dave Pearce corner.  Dorchester’s main threat came from Dan Smith, who cut inside onto his right foot but the resulting shot flew harmlessly wide.  Midway through the half a left-wing cross from Dave Pearce hit a defender and went just wide of the near post, and the resulting corner came to Darren Purse at the far post whose shot was parried by Walker-Harris.  On 76 minutes Mark Bell’s curling shot flew just wide, then at the other end Steve Walker’s header was comfortably saved by Shane Gore.  Ashley Smith then curled in a free kick from the left to Darren Purse who headed wide of the far post.  In stoppage time a scramble in the Dorchester box saw Stephan Hamilton mishit in front of goal, and the ball eventually dropped to Ryan Towner whose shot was saved by Walker-Harris.  Chesham were forced to play out the last few minutes with ten men after Mark Nwokeji was injured in the melee, and later was kept in hospital overnight suffering from concussion and a gash in the face which needed stitches.
